FOREST – Federal Liberal members in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex elected a new executive at their Annual General Meeting last weekend in Forest, as the possibility of the Harper government calling a national election in the Fall looms large.
Re-elected as President is Mike Ferguson of Wallaceburg; Carolynne Griffith of Brooke-Alvinston as Vice-President; Gary Martin of Wallaceburg as Treasurer; Frank Kennes of Strathroy as VP Policy; Marie Baker of Strathroy as Membership Chair; and Eric Kilbreath of Dresden as Secretary.
A number of directors were also elected from each of the three counties in the large riding.
The riding association also launched a new website, www.lkmliberals.blogspot.com to keep local Liberals, and others, informed about party events and policies.
The Liberal Party of Canada’s website is www.liberal.ca, with www.onprobation.ca helping to keep the federal Conservative government in check as they have dropped a record $50 billion deficit on voters.
